Holding a Master’s in Philosophy from the University of Burdwan, Tandra’s journey is an inspiring tale of empowerment and leadership. She serves as the President of the ‘Nari Shakti’ Self-Help Group (SHG), motivating and guiding women in her village towards economic independence. Tandra’s unwavering commitment to women’s empowerment extends to supporting them in handicrafts and skill development, providing opportunities for local women to enhance their livelihoods. Her leadership has not only transformed her own life but has also had a profound impact on the entire Konarpur community. Tandra Chakladar embodies the spirit of ‘Nari Shakti,’ serving as an inspiration for women to break barriers and realize their aspirations.

Shri Partha Roy

An alumnus of the Department of Social Work, Visva-Bharati University and Indore School of Social Work, Devi Ahilya University, Partha Roy has been working in the field of social development for 24 years and has led several large-scale projects. He has worked with various national and international organizations like USAID, Save the Children, Population Services International, Population Foundation of India, etc. in various parts of the country. Partha is passionate about health systems strengthening and implementing path-breaking programs on RMNCH+A, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Nutrition and Community Development. He brings in expertise both in field roll-out, management and implementation of large-scale projects. Partha possesses a skill set of training field-level professionals, monitoring and supervising projects in both urban and rural domains.
Sudha Biswas is a dedicated philanthropist and social worker, born and raised in a rural community of Bengal. Her lifelong passion lies in uplifting underprivileged communities, with a special focus on tribal populations. Through her unwavering commitment to education, Sudha has empowered countless children from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue and achieve their academic goals. Her work continues to inspire hope and create opportunities for those who need them most.

A committed social worker, she is deeply passionate about children’s education and works tirelessly to support underprivileged communities. She is also highly knowledgeable in Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and self-help initiatives, empowering women and marginalized groups to achieve financial independence and social upliftment. Her dedication to creating equal opportunities reflects her vision of a more inclusive and empowered society.
Musfeka Khatun holds a Master’s degree from Netaji Subhas Open University. A committed social worker, she is deeply passionate about children’s education and works tirelessly to support underprivileged communities. She actively works with Scheduled Tribe communities, fostering inclusive growth and advocating for equal opportunities. Her dedication reflects a vision of building a more just and empowered society.
